Stretch, shimmy, and shake with Cassandra Hoo! Learn belly dance and yoga in a fun, sexy, and therapeutic way!
All levels are welcome -- So don't be shy if you think you have two left feet, no rhythm, or can't shake your hips! The beautiful thing about belly dance is that it's all about freedom of expression! There is no right or wrong way to do it. It's all about being your unique self and owning it. This class will allow you to explore your sensuality, movement, grace, and confidence without judgement. And here's another added perk: your core and arms will be challenged in a deeper and more dynamic way than crunches and lifting weights!

This 2.25 hour workshop will build on the the first workshop that was offered on August 21st. If this workshop is your first one, don't sweat it (you'll be sweating plenty in class, don't you worry). Many of the postures and concepts from the first workshop will be reviewed, broken down, and repeated. New belly dance techniques and belly/yoga sequences will be added as well!

Teacher Bio: Cassandra Hoo completed her 200 and 300 hour yoga teacher trainings from YogaWorks. She discovered belly dance several years ago and instantly fell in love. Belly dance allowed her to find a deeper level of self acceptance and a confidence that she never had before. She preformed with a belly dance troupe in Philadelphia and loved being apart of such an amazing and supportive femme community. She hopes to develop a belly dance/yoga sisterhood here in California!
